What a load...

Stuff like this is completely unacceptable. Nine hours?!? The best bit was this, though:

Kristy Nicholas, a spokeswoman for ExpressJet Airlines, said passengers couldn't go to the Rochester terminal to wait out the storms because they would have needed to redo their security screening and screeners had gone home.
That's crap, and they know it -- as the airport manager even said, the passengers would have been waiting in the secured area, so screening wasn't the problem. Incompetence was.

I'm just glad I wasn't on that flight, and I feel sorry for the people who were.
